Major Interest | Noninvasive assessment of equine bone and the effect of bisphosphonate on this tissue. More recently he developed various equine models to assess regenerative medicine. Clinical research is focused on wound healing therapy and on guttural pouch disease |
Education | Qualified as a veterinarian at the University of Liège (Belgium), he obtained a Master of Science from the University of Montreal (Canada) and became Privat Dozent in 1998 from the University of Bern (Switzerland). |
Post-graduate Training | After an Internship in equine medicine and a Residency in large animal surgery (Montreal), he became ECVS Diplomate in 1994. |
Professional Experience | Full Professor in equine surgery he is, since 1998, Head of the Equine Health Centre at VetAgro Sup, veterinary campus of Lyon (France). He served ESVOT as Director and President and he is actively involved in ECVS. He is presently Director for Partnerships and International Relations at VetAgro Sup. |
