Professional Experience | Michael is a Veterinary Surgeon with 25 years international equine experience. Since graduating from New Zealand's Massey University he has worked with leading Thoroughbred horse trainers and breeders around the world. His career has spanned Newmarket in the United Kingdom, Coolmore in Ireland, Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong. In Saudi Arabia he was the private veterinary surgeon for HRH Prince Ahmad bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz's Thoroughbred Corporation. For 12 years Michael was based in Hong Kong where he was Deputy Head of the Veterinary Clinical Services Department at the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Currently based in New Zealand he is now the Director of an Equine Veterinary Consultancy Practice. |
